EVisa to Bahrain – Back to Basics

The validity period

Your eVisa will be valid for up to 3 months starting from the date of approval.

Stay duration

You can stay in Bahrain for 14, 30 or 90 days. Also, you can make multiple entries in the country.

Application submission date

You should apply a minimum of 30 days prior to the departure. After the expiry of your visa, you should submit your application again.

Printout of the eVisa

After the application process is completed, you can carry a hard copy of the visa while you are in Sri Lanka. However, this is not a requirement.

Passport validity

Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months.

eVisa on arrival

It is allowed to get an eVisa on arrival. However, keep in mind that it will be valid for up to 30 days.

Overstay

You can overstay in Bahrain for up to two weeks. For this, you need to contact the authorities.
